Risin Ventures brought together passionate entrepreneurs, distinguished investors, and sustainability-focused startups to tackle pressing environmental challenges and shape a greener future. After receiving over 200 applications, 10 groundbreaking startups were shortlisted, with FortyGuard, Olive Gaea, and Mruna securing the top three spots for their game-changing solutions. The day began with an inspiring keynote by Farrukh Shad, Head of Sustainability Business for APMEA at Schneider Electric, setting a visionary tone for sustainable transformation. Engaging panel discussions followed, featuring thought leaders like Sal Jafar, Maria Florida, Sabrina Salama, Jay Sadiq and Dr. Jacinta Dsilva, who shared actionable insights into the future of sustainability. The energy remained high thanks to our dynamic EMCEE, Hassaan Ghazali, while an esteemed judging panel, including Karim J-P Haggar, Steve Khayat, and Lola Fernandez Flores, selected the winners with their expert evaluations. The event was a resounding success, showcasing the UAE’s commitment to innovation and sustainability while inspiring a collective drive toward a greener future.
